The Washington State House and Senate showed true leadership when they voted to preserve the will of the voters and keep WA public charter schools open. Now it's Gov. Inslee's turn to show that same leadership. Use the form to tell the Governor just how important public charter schools are.

Yes, and like any other type of public school, Washington public charter schools are:
- Open to all students
- Publicly funded
- Staffed by certified teachers
- Held accountable to state and national standards
In exchange for more accountability, public charter schools have more flexibility around staffing, length of the school day and year, and curriculum than traditional public schools. The increased flexibility lets them innovate and customize learning to meet the needs of their diverse students.
